Suwannee Thai Cuisine

"Was in Kearney and wanting something different so we tried Suwannee, it was amazing. When we arrived there were 10 people waiting ahead of us so I asked if it was worth the wait, I received a resounding Yes! It truly was! I had the crispy chicken and my companions bought had Pad Thai. Everything was delicious! We did have about a 20 minute wait but well worth the time. Highly recommend!"

"This place is fantastic. They have the most beautifully served dishes, it's almost too pretty to eat. They have "sticky" style rice and the menu is really quite large. The crispy chicken is very close to a general or yum yum chicken at a typical American Chinese restaurant, it's a great choice for kids, as well as the crispy silverbags, similar to crab Rangoon. The noodles can't be beat, they are the best in town. I have only tried a few menu items, I keep coming back to the Crispy Chicken myself. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's delicious every time and that is worth it!"

"I love Thai food and always try it wherever I go. I moved to Kearney for college in May. I stopped here for dinner and was disappointed. The food was too sweet. I liked the service and everything else. The price was a little cheaper than at normal Thai restaurants I had been to."

"I had a very good experience for my first time at this restaurant. My waitress was SUPERB!! The appetizers were very delicious. However, the entrees that we chose were very sweet to us. We prefer more of a savory taste. The GREEN CURRY was the better of the two with more flavor and less sugar, THE SEAFOOD IN THE MUD was just too sweet for curry and did not have enough kick."

"The food is not worth the wait. I have never been to a Thai restaurant that didn't ask how hot do I want my curry. Tail-on shrimp, chunks of inedible ginger root and chewy lemongrass hiding throughout the tiny bowl. The saddest red curry ever. But the extremely slow service in a half empty space at lunch speaks volumes. The ultimate service no-no, each of our party of 5 was served minutes apart after a 45 minute wait. Yes, it's Thai in Nebraska, but it's an unsatisfactory result for the time spent."
